Nobody else has lived exactly your life. Not one person on earth has stood in your specific body, in your specific moment, carrying your specific weight. That aloneness is not a flaw in the design. It is the design.
And yet — when someone shares a moment from that alone place, honestly, without performance — something happens. A stranger on the other side of the world hears it and feels something shift. Not because their life matches. Because their aloneness matches.
That is the only real connection available to us. Not sameness. Recognition.
Sheboyggin exists because of that. You share a real story from your life — anonymously. A cartoon character voices it, broadcast-style, the way the news was always supposed to work: not trends, not outrage, but the actual patterns in what people are going through. The community votes on what resonates. When enough people say "that happened to me too," you start to see something real.
The format strips away everything that makes a story feel like it belongs to one person — so it can become something everyone recognizes. The stories that move people most become fully animated episodes. The questions they raise outlive the asking. The belonging they inspire travels further than the teller will ever know.
We don't know where we go when we die. But we know that what we put into the world keeps moving after we do.
